"I have been stationed at Los Alamitos since 1991 and your company is the best I have seen and experienced."
The Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, Ca was established in 1942 as a Naval Air Station in support of the war effort; and in 1973, was transferred to the Army . Today, the Base is home to approximately 45 tenants with an average employee base of over 850 military and civilian staff on a daily basis.
The installation boasts 1,400 square acres, including 2 world-class runways which have hosted Air Force One on numerous occasions. Los Alamitos JFTB is the largest Army airfield operated by the National Guard Bureau, and is the last remaining military airport in the greater Orange/Los Angeles County areas.
Los Alamitos JFTB is also home to the Sunburst Youth Academy Challenge Program. LOVARC's newest food service contract began here in 2010 and we provide full dining services to the academy, serving about 16,000 meals a month.
